Wissett Lodge dates back to the 16th Century and belonged to the Lord of the Manor until about 100 years ago. During 1916 Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell, members of the Bloomsbury Set, lived here.

We offer one double room with kingsize (6ft) bed, this can be converted into twin 3ft beds on request. There is an ensuite bath and shower room. Bath robes are provided. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Guests also have the use of the drawing room with colour TV, CD player and cosy wood burner. Breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the large garden. Evening meals are available with prior booking. Good home cooking using local produce and garden vegetables when in season. Scotch pancakes a speciality. We have no licence so you may bring your own drinks.
